The Core Job is either a market view that is defined around a group of people trying to get a job done - as opposed to using a product - or it can be what most people call a journey view, or the experience. While we use the same modeling approach, there are slight differences.

- Determine Tire Specifications - The ability to identify and list down the necessary specifications and characteristics needed in the new tires, such as the tire size, tread pattern, brand preference, and intended use (e.g., winter, summer, all-season).
- Identify Potential Retailers - The ability to locate both online and physical stores that carry the tires matching the defined specifications, considering factors like location, reputation, and pricing.
- Compile Necessary Resources - The ability to gather the necessary resources for the purchase, including funds, relevant documents (like vehicle registration or owner's manual), and potentially a means of transport if buying in-store.
- Confirm Purchase Parameters - The ability to verify the final tire specifications, budget, and retailer(s) of choice, making any necessary adjustments before proceeding with the purchase.
- Place Order or Purchase In-Store - The ability to execute the purchase, either by placing an order online or buying the tires in-store.
- Track Order Status - The ability to monitor the delivery status if the tires were ordered online, or the installation process if services were availed in-store.
- Address Delivery or Installation Issues - The ability to resolve any problems that may arise during delivery or installation, such as damaged products, incorrect products, or installation errors.
- Request Adjustments or Returns - The ability to modify the order if necessary, such as returning incorrect or unsatisfactory products and requesting replacements.
- Check Tire Installation and Fit - The ability to ensure the tires have been correctly installed and fit the vehicle properly, checking alignment and any immediate performance issues.
- Register Tire Warranty - The ability to conclude the job by registering the product warranty (if applicable), preserving proof of purchase, and disposing of old tires responsibly.
